Description
To generate extracts from hop by-products for use in cosmetic products, thus contributing to the circular economy. This will be achieved by producing hydrosols through steam distillation and scCO2 extraction.
Results
1. Extraction method (process and materials) of hydrosols from hop plant stems and leaves at a pre-industrial scale. 2. Physicochemical characterization of hydrosols extracted from hop plant stems and leaves at a pre-industrial scale. 3. Sensory and organoleptic analysis of hydrosols extracted from hop plant stems and leaves for cosmetic use.
