Description
The project studies the presence of microplastics in key agri-food products in the Region of Murcia (grapes, milk, peppers, rice) and their derivatives. It will develop advanced analytical strategies for their detection, with the aim of improving food safety and supporting future regulations.
Results
Validation of an analytical method for the determination of MPs in cheese and milk by pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (PyGC-MS). Analysis of real samples. Optimization of sample treatment for the determination of MPs in grapes by PyGC-MS.
