CAP Network Conference for the European Union's ARIA Awards 2026 Edition
Description
The European CAP Network has launched the fourth edition of the ARIA (Agricultural & Rural Inspiration Awards) 2026 , under the motto "When equality drives the next generation".
Once again, the most outstanding projects funded by the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and implemented at the local level are being sought: ecological, smart, socially inclusive, innovative, and resilient projects. Applications can only be submitted through the CAP Network , and projects must fall into one of the following four categories:
- Competitive and smart agriculture
- Environmental protection
- Socioeconomic fabric of rural areas
- Gender equality
The 2026 edition focuses on gender equality , highlighting projects that empower women to actively shape the future of agriculture and rural areas. In addition to the category award and the people's choice award , a special prize, the Generational Transition Award , will be presented.
ARIA AWARDS 2026 PROMOTION DAY
On Wednesday, May 13th, the PAC Network is organizing a free online event to present and promote the 2026 ARIA Awards. The event will take place in the morning (10:00-12:00) . The objectives of the event are:
- Disseminate these awards among all actors linked to the rural and agricultural environment in order to collect the best projects to send to the European CAP Network.
- To inform about the registration requirements, application process, evaluation criteria, phases and the benefits of participating in the ARIA 2026 awards, as well as to answer any questions that may arise in this regard.
- To highlight the benefits of participating in the ARIA 2026 awards by exchanging experiences with winners and finalists from previous editions, who will share the added value it has brought to their projects.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Applications must be sent to redpac@mapa.es or to a local regional office. All applications must be submitted through the Spanish CAP Network and NOT directly to the European CAP Network.
