Spanish Society of Forest Sciences (SECF)

The Spanish Society of Forest Sciences was founded in 1991 to foster the study and advancement of forest sciences and techniques in Spain, promote the scientific and technical development of its members, encourage cooperation among them, and promote national and international exchange between entities and specialists in their fields. The Society's membership comprises researchers and professionals in forestry and related fields, as well as companies and organizations whose objectives include carrying out forestry work and activities in the private or public sectors. The most represented professional qualifications within the Society include forestry engineers, forestry technicians, agricultural engineers, biologists, chemists, lawyers, economists, geologists, pharmacists, and others.
