The CSIC is organizing a conference on sustainable soil management aimed at the agricultural sector.
Description
The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) has organized a practical workshop focused on the health and sustainable management of agricultural soil, aimed especially at farmers, cooperatives, and professionals in the sector. The event, entitled MultiSoil – Let's Take Care of the Soil , will take place on February 19, 2026, in the Estepa Designation of Origin region (Seville) .
This initiative, organized by the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council), has been designed as a participatory forum to address fundamental issues for the agricultural sector, with a technical approach focused on practical application in the field. Topics include effective practices for improving soil health, strategies for adapting to changes in the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) , and recommendations for establishing and maintaining a healthy olive grove from the seedling stage.
The event will also offer practical tools and solutions that can be applied immediately on farms, with special attention to real problems faced by farmers and concrete proposals for their resolution.
Participation is free, although places are limited, so those interested are advised to register in advance through the registration link provided by the organizers.
With this activity, the CSIC seeks to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between scientific research and the needs of the agricultural sector, promoting practices that contribute to maintaining and improving the fertility and functionality of soils in a context of growing environmental and regulatory challenges.
