Description

Next Thursday, November 27, 2025 , the Eurostars Acteón hotel in Valencia will host a high-level technical conference organized by Interempresas under the slogan "Prepared for extreme agriculture," a meeting that focuses on one of the major challenges of the agricultural sector: how to deal with increasingly adverse growing conditions due to climate change .

The event will bring together international researchers, consultants, and technicians who will present the latest advances in multifactorial stress in plants , including water, heat, salinity, and soil degradation stress, as well as emerging pest and disease pressures. Speakers will present science-based solutions and showcase practical examples of adaptive management applied to strategic crops.

One of the program's highlights will be a roundtable discussion with experts and farmers from Spain, Morocco, and Egypt , who will share real-world experiences from regions already working under extreme weather conditions. This exchange will provide insights into innovative practices that can shape the future of Mediterranean agriculture.

The event is aimed especially at advisors, agricultural technicians, farm managers, cooperatives and agricultural innovation professionals who are looking for tools and knowledge to improve the resilience of farms in the face of an increasingly uncertain climate.

Registration for the event is now open and the full program can be viewed through Interempresas.
