COAG's digitalization workshop on sustainable crop nutrition

On June 26, 2025 , La Cañada Restaurant in Molina de Segura (Murcia) will host a new technical conference organized by COAG , focusing on a highly topical issue: sustainable crop nutrition . The event is part of the organization's commitment to the digitalization of the agri-food sector and the promotion of environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

The event will address key issues for farmers and ranchers, such as Royal Decree 1051/2022 , which establishes standards for sustainable nutrition in agricultural soils and new compliance obligations, as well as current frost calendars in various provisions.

The program also includes the presentation and demonstration of digital tools designed to facilitate more efficient and sustainable fertilization management:

• The SATIVUM tool, which offers advanced features for sustainable nutrition planning and whose use will be explained in detail.
• The nitrogen balance calculator and other resources for fertigation control.

Finally, innovative projects will be on display, such as the FERTECO Project (Eco-Sustainable Fertigation in the Mar Menor Basin), developed with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation and the CSIC , which represents an example of how technology and sustainability can go hand in hand to protect sensitive ecosystems.

The event will be a space for learning, sharing experiences, and analyzing the opportunities that digitalization offers the agri-food sector on the path toward more sustainable and efficient agriculture.
