Description
On July 2 and 3 , the “Future Program: Cultivating skills to encourage the incorporation of young people into the agri-food sector” will hold Sessions 3 and 4 of the program, with a training trip to Murcia and Eastern Andalusia.
These sessions will focus on innovation, technology, and cooperative models in the agri-food sector, allowing participants to learn firsthand about successful experiences and leading centers in research and sustainable production.
Session 3 – Wednesday, July 2 | Region of Murcia
- 8:00 a.m. | Departure from Utiel
- Technical visits:
- Bodegas Luzón (Murcia): an example of modernization in the wine sector.
- Cajamar Experimental Station: a leading center for applied research into sustainable crops and agricultural technologies.
- 9:00 PM | Group dinner
Session 4 – Thursday, July 3 | Almería
- 9:00 a.m. | Check-out
- Technical visits:
- Biosabor: a leading company in organic production and the circular economy.
- CASI Agrobiocooperative: a benchmark cooperative model in the fruit and vegetable sector.
- 2:00 PM | Lunch and return to Utiel
This educational trip will allow attendees to gain direct exposure to cutting-edge initiatives that are transforming the agri-food sector in Spain, and will serve as a source of inspiration for young people seeking to start their own business or pursue a career in this field.
The activity is organized in collaboration with the Utiel-Requena DO and is part of the national training and knowledge exchange program for the agri-food and forestry sectors.
