Electrotech Operational Group: Use of new technologies to improve foliar applications in agriculture

An alternative to conventional foliar application is proposed, consisting of the implementation of various technologies, such as: electrostatic spraying, early warning of pest and disease prediction, and the identification of the strategy that best suits each situation (application method, pest/disease, crop status, type of greenhouse, etc.), which allow for greater effectiveness of the products in their application and less use of them.

This operational group will have a direct impact on the productivity and sustainability of end users, as it will be focused on improving the efficiency of both phytosanitary and fertilizer products in foliar applications, and on better water and input management protocols for foliar applications, which will ultimately translate into healthier production.
