Operational, legal, economic and financial models for the implementation of sustainable and competitive photovoltaic energy in agri-food facilities

The Task Force aims to create a framework for the efficient and profitable implementation of photovoltaic energy in the agri-food sector. The viability of self-consumption installations in different types of agri-food companies is being tested.

The aim is to resolve the main difficulties that the agri-food sector faces in dealing with energy costs, which account for 30 percent of production costs.

The aim is to achieve continuous improvement in energy efficiency and savings and to obtain an overview through energy audits.

Companies can thus optimise their energy costs, correct breakdowns, billing errors, deviations or even facilitate decision-making when contracting energy supplies.
