Description
This Task Force addresses the current problems of carob cultivation (Ceratonia siliqua L.) related to plant propagation, selection of new varieties that better adapt to current commercial demands, the sustainability of the crop and the nutritional value of carob, to give it greater added value and thus improve its commercial expectations.
Objectives
The ultimate goal is to improve the economic results of producers and industries involved in the carob value chain by increasing the profitability of its cultivation and obtaining new varieties better adapted to the market.
