Operational Group: Reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere through the adoption of conservation agricultural practices in forage crops

The purpose of this Task Force is to establish farm models that adopt conservation agriculture for forage crops, improving their environmental performance and economic profitability; reducing cultivation time and fuel consumption; reducing soil erosion; demonstrating to the agricultural sector that these sustainable techniques, which reduce atmospheric gel concentration, are equally productive and more efficient in their use of inputs than conventional agricultural techniques; and disseminating conservation agriculture to provide agricultural sector stakeholders and other interested parties with sufficient knowledge and tools.
