Sustainable production in garden crops based on the promotion of macro and micro organisms

An Operational Group has been set up to promote a technology-based pilot project for watermelon, cabbage and lettuce crops to increase their sustainability and to produce products with high added value by improving: - biodiversity through the use of natural enemies of pests, pollinators and mycorrhizae - biological control through conservation with insectary plants and pollination with honey plants, fertilizer management and reduction of pesticides, rationalizing the use of fertilizer and implementing integrated pest and disease management.
