Description
The Operational Group studies the incidence of tail-biting on the farms of its members, for which it collects information and carries out a statistical study of the level of impact of tail-biting on fattening and transition farms (including collective and individual prevalence).
The study of the influence of variables, typology and visual detection is also planned, as well as the analysis of parameters that affect prevalence, and the anatomopathological, histological and nervous sensitivity study in the event of a need for partial tail amputation.
Finally, the establishment of global strategies is pursued based on the results obtained.
