e-PASTOS Operational Group

The Operational Group aims to improve the dissemination of the public/private livestock pasture offer in Andalusia, through an organizational innovation in which the livestock sector, administrations, technicians, agricultural organizations and scientific groups linked to extensive livestock farming in Andalusia will participate, highlighting this use and making it more accessible to society in general and to pasture applicants in particular, who will be able to access an online GIS geodatabase where all the pasture offer in Andalusia will be centralized.

The goal is to create a group to gather information on e-pastures, as well as select companies and technicians to develop the geodatabase and website, and create the Andalusian ePastures Roundtable. The group will serve as a forum to promote knowledge transfer, information relevant to livestock farmers and farmers, and innovation in both its implementation and the organizational design of the sector.
