Description
Build a technological platform for the digitalization and complete control of greenhouse production, related to productivity, sustainability, optimal performance, and traceability.
Objectives
- Define the infrastructure for the creation of an integrative platform for the digital information available and captured in greenhouses.
- Design and build a cloud platform in which management and logistics recommendations adapted to the needs of greenhouse cultivation will be analyzed and generated.
- Launch a pilot greenhouse with the project developments.
- Development of a greenhouse management computer application where all the data produced by all the technologies to be implemented will be recorded.
- Dissemination of results.
Results
- Report on the characterization of input management and the availability of digitalized information in typical greenhouses in southeastern Spain. Report on technological requirements for the development of a cloud-based platform for managing and analyzing greenhouse information.
- Construction of the cloud platform incorporating information analysis algorithms to support decision-making.
- Pilot greenhouse management using cloud platform algorithms, integrating input and labor control and reduction recommendations.
- Visualization of data uploaded to the platform through a personal access web tool, Development of a greenhouse management software application incorporating the strategy for controlling and reducing inputs, Connection of information from the cloud platform to the warehouse traceability system.
