Description
Increase the efficiency of citrus irrigation and fertilization by implementing a comprehensive management service, capturing data through ground and aerial sensors, processing it using Artificial Intelligence, and improving fruit quality.
Objectives
- Conditioning of three irrigation areas for citrus groves, maximizing their hydraulic and energy efficiency through the application of a simple methodology that can be replicated by farmers. Implementation of an aerial and ground-based sensor system.
- Development and implementation of an irrigation and fertilizer recommendation service throughout the fruit cycle through a simple and agile programming methodology, achieving significant improvements in quality and production and a reduction in input use.
- Conditioning of three citrus growing areas in relation to new cultivation and tillage techniques.
- Dissemination of the conclusions and results of the innovation project in the Spanish citrus community.
Results
