Description
The project's main objective is to jointly address a specific problem of abandonment of cultivated lands and to take advantage of the opportunities of the cooperative sector from the perspective of multi-sectoral social innovation.
Objectives
- Develop an IGC entrepreneurship space that facilitates the incorporation of management mechanisms that optimize the production of citrus, fruit, vegetables, and other woody crops to boost the marketing of own production.
- To accompany and disseminate two emblematic projects that allow comparing all phases of the social innovation process
- Develop a toolbox for common land management that includes protocols and a roadmap for the implementation of IGC
Results
- Launch of an entrepreneurship space and an interconnection platform for stakeholders to systematize and exchange experiences and best practices in IGCs.
- The emblematic projects of joint management of plots in the San Vicent Rural Cooperative and in the Uniò program are supported.
- Establishment of a system for monitoring and evaluating the environmental and economic results of the plots and cooperatives involved
- Dissemination of good practices to other cooperatives
- Development of a protocol accompanied by practical sheets, videos and web tools
