Description

The main objective of the project is to jointly address the specific problem of abandonment of cultivated land and to take advantage of the opportunities of the cooperative sector from a multi-sectoral social innovation perspective.

Objectives

Develop an entrepreneurial space for IGCs that facilitates the incorporation of management mechanisms that allow optimizing the production of citrus, fruit trees, vegetables and other woody crops to enhance the commercialization of own production.
To support and disseminate two emblematic projects that allow for the comparison of all phases of the social innovation process.
Develop a toolbox for common land management, including protocols and a roadmap for the implementation of IGC.

Results

Launching of an entrepreneurship space and a platform for interconnection between actors to systematize and exchange experiences and good practices in IGCs.
The flagship projects for joint management of plots are supported by the San Vicent Rural Cooperative and the Uniò programme.
Establishment of a system for monitoring and evaluating the environmental and economic results of the plots and cooperatives involved. Dissemination of good practices to other cooperatives.
Development of a protocol accompanied by practical sheets, videos and web tools.
