Description
Innovations in hop cultivation in Spain, incorporating improvements in processes, technologies, and sustainable management of water resources, fertilizers, and pest control, promoting the organization and profitability of farms.
Objectives
- Sustainable pest and disease control
- Optimization of the irrigation and fertilization system
- Environmental and economic sustainability of farms
Results
- Proposal for phytosanitary products, incorporation of microorganisms with positive interaction with the hop plant, and development of an Integrated Pest Management guide.
- Fertilization and irrigation strategy to optimize yield and quality
- Proposal for eco-sustainable technologies for waste recovery and development of a digital farm management system
- Definition of the cultivation techniques, specifying methods of action, calendar and doses of treatments
