Description
It seeks to increase grain legume production in Spain through the implementation, transfer, and dissemination of innovative cultivation systems and techniques that increase farm profitability.
Objectives
- Productive diagnosis of the value chain and consumption of legumes for human consumption
- Demonstrations of innovative production systems and agricultural techniques for the cultivation of grain legumes in each of the case studies
- Public communication of the objectives, activities and results of the operational group and the importance of human consumption of legumes
Results
- Diagnosis of the productive and marketing capacity of the value chain of legumes for human consumption
- Demonstration and implementation on pilot farms of innovative production systems adapted to each case study
- Agronomic report and field guide on legume crops for human consumption
- Socioeconomic study of the human consumption legume sector
- Communication campaign to promote the production and consumption of legumes
