Vitartis includes measures to improve digitalization among the twenty proposals it has submitted to the Strategic Plan for the Agri-Food Industry of the Government of Castilla y León

The Food Industry Association of Castile and León, Vitartis , whose Board of Directors met on December 12 in Salamanca , has positively assessed the industrial plan recently presented by President Fernández Mañueco.

However, among the recently presented improvement measures, he called on the Regional Government to "work jointly with other ministries to improve telecommunications infrastructure and connectivity in rural areas , which will facilitate the digital development of the agri-food sector." He also advocates including funding for collaborative projects involving different links in the value chain in terms of innovation, digitalization, and the implementation of new technologies, in which the industry can act as a driving force.

And it recommends that the Castile and León Aid Guide also include aid from other regional, national, and European organizations, so that agri-food industries can better access information on all available options.
