Boosting digital skills for a more competitive rural tourism

Data4Rural is an Erasmus+ initiative that aims to strengthen digital and data-related skills in the rural tourism sector. The project is specifically targeted at small businesses , local policymakers , and trainers , with the goal of improving decision-making, promoting sustainable tourism strategies , and increasing the competitiveness of rural areas .

Through this survey, the project aims to gather key information about:

  • How are digital tools and data currently being used in rural tourism?
  • What barriers hinder wider and more effective adoption
  • What type of training and support would help strengthen digital and data management skills

The responses collected will directly contribute to the design of the Data4Rural training program and its future learning platform , ensuring that both respond to the real needs and daily challenges of rural tourism agents.

The Homo Viator Foundation , as the coordinating entity of the Data4Rural project , is responsible for the processing of the data obtained through this survey, always in accordance with the principles of confidentiality and data protection.

The organization encourages companies, entities and rural tourism professionals to participate and contribute their vision, thus helping to build more useful, inclusive and adapted training and digital solutions for the rural environment .
