RURAL CAMPUS
Description
The Rural Campus Program is an initiative developed by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the majority of Spanish public universities, which allows university students to do internships in municipalities in rural areas with depopulation problems.
Through the Geoportal , in the Demographic Challenge-Rural Campus layer , you can consult the municipalities potentially included in the scope of application of the program. In general, these are municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, although this criterion does not have to be the only one or exclude the possible municipalities in which to develop the practices.
