The Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) strengthens its commitment to precision agriculture with a new line of aid in the 2025 Renewal Plan.

Publication date: 30/06/2025

Description

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food has announced a grant for the 2025 Renewal Plan , with a total allocation of €9.5 million to modernize the agricultural machinery fleet. For the first time, a specific line of €1 million is included for precision agriculture components , a clear sign of the commitment to the digitalization and efficiency of the Spanish agricultural sector.

This new line will allow subsidies for equipment such as NIR sensors, autoguidance systems, ISOBUS kits, and adapters for variable workloads—key tools for optimizing the use of inputs, improving profitability, and reducing environmental impact. They can be installed on both new and existing machinery, although only one grant will be awarded per applicant.

In addition to this new feature, the Plan maintains its support for:

  • Direct sowing seeders , with 3 million euros.
  • Other machinery , such as tractors or towed machines, with 5.55 million.
  • Equipment for managing plant cover , aligned with the CAP's carbon farming eco-regime.

The application period will be open from July 8 to September 15, 2025 , and from June 25, machinery can be purchased and registered in the Official Registry of Agricultural Machinery (except for precision agriculture components, which do not require registration).

All information is available on the MAPA website. This call consolidates the Renove Plan as a key tool for more modern, sustainable, and technologically advanced agriculture.
