EU CAP Network opens the call for participation in the 2026 cross-visits
Description
The EU CAP Network has launched a call for expressions of interest to participate in the 2026 cross-visits , a series of cross-visits aimed at boosting innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking within the framework of the EIP-AGRI . The application deadline is 20 February 2026 (23:59 CET) .
Three themes for the 2026 cross-visits
The 2026 visits will be directed towards Operational Group projects working in one of these areas:
- Plant genetic resources
- Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
- Protein crop production in a context of climate change
Who can apply?
Operational Groups, both ongoing and completed , are eligible to apply, provided they have intermediate or final results that can be shared. The call for applications particularly encourages farmers representing their Operational Groups to participate .
Applications are submitted by Operational Group ; therefore, if an entity participates in more than one GO related to the themes, it can submit more than one application .
Two ways to participate: as a host or as a participant
The EU CAP Network is seeking Operational Groups interested in:
- Hosting a cross-visit (being the host of the field visit), and/or
- Participate in cross-visits as attendees to exchange experiences and innovative ideas.
It is possible to request both options (host and attend).
Dates, language, and expense coverage
The three cross-visits will take place during the week of June 15, 2026. The usual duration of each visit is one and a half days (excluding travel time).
The exact date and location will be announced in the second half of March 2026 , once the host Operational Groups have been selected.
The working language will be English , and there will be no interpretation . The organization will cover and manage travel and accommodation for participants.
