Description
The deadline for applications for training stays in the Cultiva 2024 Program is September 5. This program offers young farmers the opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge on agricultural and livestock farms throughout Spain. Applications can be submitted until September 5 through the ministry's electronic headquarters .
The catalogue of available farms , which includes detailed information on the characteristics and types of production of each one, is now available on the MAPA website. This catalogue also has a search engine that facilitates the selection of farms by territory, dates and type of agricultural production .
The programme covers the accommodation, food and transport costs of the young participants during their stay. In addition, financial compensation is offered for those who need to hire a third person to manage their own farm during the time of the training.
The host farms, spread across all the autonomous communities, are examples of innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector. The stays are organised in collaboration with entities such as ASAJA, ASOPORCEL, COAG and UPA , among others.
