Call for aid for tangible or intangible investments in the transformation, marketing and development of agricultural products

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , through the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund ( FEGA ), has published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) the call for aid for tangible or intangible investments in the transformation, commercialization and development of agricultural products. The maximum aid limit per investment project is €5,000,000.

The aim of all these measures is to contribute to achieving better-sized cooperatives, with the capacity to concentrate the offer and to acquire greater negotiating power in the food chain. These aids are regulated by Royal Decree 1010/2015 , of November 6, and are intended to achieve an improvement in the transformation and commercialization processes developed by the Priority Associative Entities (EAP) , as well as to increase the added value of their products and their positioning in the markets, which contributes to improving the competitiveness of the products they offer.

Applications for aid must be submitted within 20 working days , counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOE (04/10/2024).
