15th edition of the "Rural Women Innovation Excellence Awards"

With the aim of recognising innovative projects developed by women in rural areas and actions that recognise their fundamental role in the territory, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is calling for the 15th edition of the " Awards of Excellence for Innovation for Rural Women ".

These awards are announced in 4 categories : (1) Excellence in innovation in agricultural activity, (2) Excellence in innovation in fishing or aquaculture activity, (3) Excellence in innovation in diversification of economic activity in rural areas, and (4) Excellence in communication. In each of these categories, three initiatives will be awarded, and a first, second and third prize of €18,000, €12,000 and €7,500 will be awarded, respectively. An extraordinary honorary prize will also be awarded for 'Special recognition for the career linked to supporting women in rural areas and rural fishing areas'.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 8.
