The Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) invites you to participate in the launch webinar for the Horizon Europe 2026 calls , focusing on Clusters 6 and 5 (climate area) . The session will provide an overview of the provisional schedule for opening and closing calls , as well as information on the informational events, proposal preparation workshops, and national and European conferences that will be held in the coming months. The objective: to provide potential participants—research centers, universities, companies, and entities in the agri-food and environmental sectors—with all the information they need to plan ahead and submit competitive proposals to European R&D&I programs. Cluster 6's priority themes include food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, and the environment, while Cluster 5 (Climate) addresses key issues related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, clean energy, and sustainable mobility. This meeting represents a key opportunity for those wishing to access European funding for innovation and sustainability , within the framework of Horizon Europe 2026 . European Young Farmers Congress 2025: “Young Farmers – Toward a Prosperous Future for Farming in Europe” (#ReFarmEU)

The next European Young Farmers Congress will be held on 19 November at the European Parliament under the theme “Young farmers: toward a prosperous future for farming in Europe” , bringing together MEPs, institutional representatives, and young farmers from across the European Union to discuss the future of European agriculture. This international meeting was launched in 2012 at the initiative of MEP Nuno Melo and the Portuguese Farmers' Confederation (CAP) . It is now supported by ASAJA , the European People's Party (EPP) Group , and numerous representatives of the European Parliament. The conference aims to promote the strategic role of young farmers , rural innovation , and generational renewal in European agriculture . 1st International Congress on Regenerative Livestock Farming “Profitability and Environmental Services”

On November 20 and 21, 2025, the 1st International Congress on Regenerative Livestock Farming will take place at the University of the Balearic Islands , in Palma (Mallorca), under the title “Profitability and environmental services” . This event is aimed at all stakeholders involved in extensive and regenerative livestock farming, whether from the private, public, or academic spheres. Its purpose is to highlight and promote various productive initiatives aimed at improving sustainability in its economic, social, and environmental dimensions; promote the use of biological resources; and support traditional practices within the framework of organic farming and extensive livestock farming. Under the theme "profitability, society, and environmental services," the Congress will examine livestock farming practices that contribute to climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as the marketing of their products, while also addressing the main challenges facing the sector. The event is being organized within the context of the PASTURE+ project : livestock products that restore natural capital, contribute to the fight against climate change, and promote rural development. This initiative is supported by the Biodiversity Foundation , part of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PRTR), financed by the European Union through NextGenerationEU funds.
