XIII Scientific and Teaching Conference of the Spanish Society of Zooethnology (SEZ)

The Spanish Society of Zooethnology (SEZ) plans to hold the 13th Scientific and Educational Conference of the entity on Monday and Tuesday, October 6 and 7, 2025 , at the Zafra Fairgrounds, within the framework of the Zafra International Livestock Fair.
These scientific conferences are aimed at specialists, teachers, researchers, and other interested individuals currently working with different breeds of domestic animals in Spain, from a zootechnical and zooethnological perspective.
The event's program includes an intense day with a series of invited speakers related to the agricultural and livestock world and the presentation of scientific papers on any topic related to domestic animal breeds, in the form of oral presentations and keynotes by participants, with the aim of disseminating the latest results of their ongoing research. The event will also be rounded out with a theoretical and practical workshop on new technologies for the conservation and characterization of livestock breeds, held on Tuesday, October 7, at CENSYRA in Badajoz.

The SEZ is a national non-profit organization whose objectives include promoting the study of domestic animal breeds from a scientific perspective, combining criteria for characterization, differentiation, conservation, and improvement at the conceptual, methodological, and educational levels, with a broad scope for dissemination and training.
