VIII Agroecological Meeting

Agroecological Meeting is a consolidated event of the country's agricultural and livestock sector that is attended by farmers, technicians, agricultural consultants, industries, cooperatives, marketers and companies that intervene in the agri-food chain.

This eighth edition is focused on woody crops (olive, almond, citrus, pistachio, etc.) that are experiencing the proliferation of new plantations, the generalization of novel agroecological techniques and the rise of intensive models, aspects that show their dynamism. But there are also threats associated with the climate and lack of water , which reduce the competitiveness of traditional, less mechanized and automated farms.
