Technical workshop in Girona: Foundations of water management and handling in regenerative agricultural production models

The Juana de Vega Foundation is organizing the conference "Bases of water management and handling in regenerative agricultural production models" on September 18, 2025 , at the Mas Fuertes Estate in Corçà (Girona) .

The estate, which develops viticulture, olive growing, and beekeeping projects based on keyline criteria, will be the ideal setting for this practical and specialized training aimed at professionals in the agricultural sector.

Program (10:00 – 1:30 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.):

• Current problems in water management.
• The water cycle.
• Efficient irrigation systems.
• Basic principles of hydrological design and water management: Keyline method and drainage.
• Analysis and conclusions.

The meeting aims to train farmers, advisors, and technicians in regenerative practices that optimize water use and strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems in the face of climate change.
