The next closing webinar of the "Smart Rural Living" project, entitled "Strengthening Rural Areas through LEADER and Smart Villages," will take place online on July 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This final event will serve to share the results, lessons learned, and experiences of the project, launched in Extremadura with the aim of promoting the transformation of rural areas through people-centered digital, social, and economic strategies.
The "Smart Rural Living: Living Rural Areas, Smart Villages" (Smart Regions) project has focused on promoting the active participation of the local population in the design of Smart Region Strategies , developing pilot projects that act as drivers of change in the regions. Throughout the webinar, specific examples of these initiatives will be presented and the role of the LEADER approach and smart villages as key tools for inclusive and sustainable rural development will be discussed.
