“Seeds of the Mediterranean: Water Management in Agriculture for Mediterranean Regions”
Description
The webinar is organized by the Portuguese National CAP Network, the Greek CAP Strategic Plan and the Spanish CAP Network, members of the Mediterranean Cluster, a cooperation platform that brings together the National CAP Networks of the EU's Mediterranean Member States for monthly exchanges, moderated by the EU CAP Network.
The participating countries of the Mediterranean Cluster are: Italy, France, Romania, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and Croatia.
During one of the recent face-to-face meetings of the Mediterranean Cluster, the idea arose to create a recurring series of webinars to give greater visibility to innovative projects, share transferable solutions between countries and strengthen collaboration in the Mediterranean region.
As a result, in 2026 the Mediterranean Cluster will launch a new webinar series entitled "Seeds of the Mediterranean." This series will include a webinar every four months, each focusing on a relevant topic such as water management, climate resilience, natural resources, or agricultural innovation.

Target audience for the webinar:
- Farmers and agricultural producers.
- Advisory and extension services.
- Operational groups and innovation projects.
- Universities and research centers.
- Companies and SMEs.
- Public administrations and managing authorities.
