Pamplona celebrates TerritorioCOOP: Navarre Agri-Food Cooperativism Day

On September 27, 2025 , the old bus station in Pamplona will become the setting for TerritorioCOOP: the Day of Agri-Food Cooperativism in Navarra , an event open to the public organized by Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Navarra (UCAN) with the support of the Navarra Employment Service - Nafar Lansare and the Social Action of Caja Rural de Navarra .
The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the official opening ceremony and run until 5:30 p.m. , offering a full program of cultural, culinary, and recreational activities for all ages.
Featured Activities
- Tasting of cooperative products : oil (11:45 a.m.) with Javier Adot and DO Navarra wines (12:45 p.m.).
- Rural sports with the aizkolari Iker Vicente, champion of Euskal Herria 2024 (1:00 p.m.).
- Mariachi concert by A Toda Madre (1:40 p.m.).
- Xabier Perurena's Food Truck with burgers from the Navarra Cattle and Sheep Cooperative (from 1:30 p.m.).
- Children's healthy eating workshop (1:00 p.m., AN Group), storytelling, and activities for the little ones.
- Bingo with gifts from Caja Rural (3:30 p.m.) and musical afternoon with Dúo Kapitana (until 5:30 p.m.).
- Exhibition “Getting to know Navarre through its cooperatives” , with dramatized guided tours by the company TDiferencia (12:00, 12:45 and 13:15).
Cooperativism as the driving force of Navarre
With 116 member cooperatives , UCAN represents more than 98% of direct employment and almost 96% of the turnover of the Navarrese agricultural and livestock cooperative sector. These entities are a key economic and social driver, as well as a pillar of territorial cohesion and population maintenance in rural areas.
TerritorioCOOP will be a must-attend event to enjoy, learn about, and highlight the transformative role of agri-food cooperatives in the Autonomous Community.
