Online technical workshop on agroforestry biodiversity
Description
On September 25, 2025 , from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , Unións Agrarias-UPA and ASEFOGA are organizing the technical conference "Agroforestry Biodiversity" , which in its fourth edition will be held online .
The event, expected to be attended by 18 participants, has an informative focus and seeks to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity in the agricultural, livestock, and forestry sectors, as well as the regulatory framework, international and national policies, and practical experiences already being implemented in Spain and Europe.

- Importance and benefits for the agroforestry sector

-  International and national context of agroforestry biodiversity- International conventions and global commitments (Convention on Biological Diversity, European Biodiversity Strategy 2030)
- National and sectoral policies in Spain
- Current state of biodiversity in the agricultural, livestock and forestry sectors
 
-  Regulations and sectoral strategies in Spain- Current legal framework on biodiversity
- National conservation strategies
- Integration of biodiversity into agricultural, livestock and forestry sector plans
 
-  The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and biodiversity- General analysis of the CAP in terms of biodiversity
- Eco-schemes and environmental conditionalities
- Specific CAP measures for the conservation and improvement of biodiversity
