The Observatory for the Digitalization of the Agri-food Sector is organizing a webinar on the role of Operational Groups in innovation

On May 22, 2026, the Observatory for the Digitalization of the Agri-food Sector will hold the webinar “Operational Groups as an innovation tool”, an online event aimed at showcasing real experiences of applied innovation in the agri-food sector.

The meeting, organized by the General Sub-Directorate of Innovation and Digitalization, will take place in a virtual format between 12:00 and 14:05 and will allow participants to learn about different practical cases developed by supra-regional Operational Groups.

Throughout the session, projects focused on strategic areas such as sustainability, energy efficiency and digitalization will be presented, showcasing their objectives, working methodologies and main results.

The webinar will focus on how applied innovation and knowledge transfer are contributing to generating solutions with real impact in the agri-food sector, further reinforcing the role of Operational Groups as key tools within the AKIS ecosystem.

The event is conceived as an opportunity for professionals, advisors, entities, researchers and agents in the sector to learn about innovative initiatives developed in different territories and share experiences related to the digital and sustainable transformation of the agricultural sector.
