Information session: digitalization opportunities for the agri-food sector
Description
On January 22, 2026 , the Information Day on Digitalization Opportunities for the Agri-food Sector will be held in Madrid in a hybrid format (in-person and online) , a key meeting aimed at entities, professionals and agents of the AKIS system interested in promoting digital transformation projects in the sector.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) , and is part of the rollout of aid for advice on digitalization, the call for which was published in December 2025.
Objective of the meeting
The event aims to explain in a practical way how to access aid , clarify the evaluation criteria , detail the regulatory bases and advance the new calls planned for 2026 , focusing on the strategic role of advice as a lever to reduce the digital divide and accelerate the modernization of the agri-food and forestry sector.
