GO UBAVIDA holds a demonstration workshop on low-alcohol and dealcoholized wines in Pontevedra

On May 26 , 2026, GO UBAVIDA will host a demonstration workshop focused on sustainable strategies applied to vineyards and wineries for obtaining grapes with low sugar content and dealcoholized wines. The workshop will be held at the Paco & Lola Winery from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The meeting will focus on innovation in the wine industry and new solutions to improve the sector's sustainability and competitiveness. The workshop will cover sustainable agricultural practices, innovative winemaking processes, and dealcoholization techniques applied to the production of wines with lower alcohol content.
The day will include technical presentations on the use of kaolin to obtain grapes with lower sugar concentrations, results of green harvesting trials and dealcoholization processes, as well as a practical workshop on aroma reconstruction and a winery tour. The program also includes networking opportunities for industry professionals.
Participants include representatives from entities such as FEUGA , Bodegas Familiares Matarromera , VITEC , Plataforma Tecnológica del Vino and Bodega Paco & Lola.
The workshop is aimed at farmers, wineries, companies in the sector, regulatory boards, research centers, universities, innovation hubs, public administrations and consumers interested in learning about the latest trends in viticulture and sustainable production.
