Description
The supra-regional Operational Group MAXI-CoberLEG will hold a field demonstration workshop on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Naranjas del Carmen farm (Bétera, Valencia) , with the aim of bringing the project's progress and lessons learned to the sector under real plot conditions.
MAXI-CoberLEG works to maximize the benefits of cover crops by selecting and managing winter legumes (such as native lupins) to improve the sustainability and resilience of citrus systems, with impacts on soil, functional biodiversity and productivity.
The project is part of the PEPAC 2023–2027 and is co-financed by EAFRD and MAPA , within the framework of aid to innovative projects of supra-regional Operational Groups.
