GO LIVLAB-IN will present its circular economy model at the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum in Lleida

The LIVLAB-IN Operational Group will participate next Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum , the new agrotechnology fair that will be held at the Fira de Lleida from November 25 to 27.

Within the framework of the Forum, the project consortium will hold a working meeting from 11:30 to 12:30 in Pavilion 4, North Room, to continue advancing in the validation under real conditions of its methodology for valorizing vegetable by-products, waste and residues (SDRs) through insect farming, aimed at improving the productivity and sustainability of agricultural holdings and agro-industries.

Following this, from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., the GO LIVLAB-IN project will be presented publicly in Room P4N of the same pavilion , as part of the official Agrobiotech Innovation Forum program. This presentation will explain how the use of insects allows for the transformation of agricultural byproducts into proteins for biofertilizers and other biomaterials, reducing waste and supporting a low-emission circular economy model.

Participation in the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum will allow the Operational Group to present interim results , share experiences with other innovative projects in bioeconomy and highlight the potential of insect farming as a tool to "achieve more with less " in the agricultural sector, promoting competitiveness, environmental sustainability and job creation in rural areas.
