Description
On March 13, a demonstration workshop for farmers of the GO AGRIREGENCARBÓN project will take place , the general objective of which is to establish a pilot project to validate the technical, regulatory and economic viability of a methodology for the generation of carbon emission offsets in the agricultural sector.
PROGRAM:
- 9:30h: Reception of attendees
- 9:45h: Welcome and presentation of the Agriregencarbon project. Jesús Abadias Ullod – Agrifood Cooperatives of Aragon
- 10:00h: Introduction to Regenerative Agriculture in crops of the Iberian Peninsula. José Luis García de Castro Rubio – Poultree Regenerative Farm
- 11:15h: Introduction to agricultural carbon markets. Orson Acosta Romero de Tejada - Azolla Projects
- 12:30pm: Regional agricultural experiences. Farmers from the province of Teruel will share their experiences related to sustainable agriculture and Carbon Farming.
