'The Future of Cereal' Congress 2025

The 2025 edition of the "Future of Cereal" conference, organized by AGROPAL and the journal TIERRAS AGRICULTURA, will take place on September 10th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cereal production currently faces numerous challenges, including increased exposure to adverse weather conditions, the cost of inputs, shrinking margins and the need to increase the average farm size, increased bureaucratic burdens, labor shortages and generational turnover, geopolitical conflicts, and other factors.
However, technological developments in cereal crops are now offering the opportunity to optimize the application of increasingly sustainable and efficient phytosanitary products and fertilizers, to use seeds that are better adapted to stressful conditions and more productive, and to acquire in-depth knowledge of our soils and plots to tailor management to the needs of the crop.
