Field demonstration day on pruning in woody crops focused on the almond tree

On March 3, 2026 , Sádaba (Zaragoza) will host a field demonstration day dedicated to pruning and managing woody crops , with a special focus on almond production in conventional and organic systems . The activity, taking place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM , will allow attendees to learn technical recommendations and observe various pruning practices applied to almond trees.
The day is aimed at providing a practical view of almond tree management and showing pruning techniques adapted to current production models, including recent trends and high-density systems , which are gaining relevance due to their impact on farm efficiency.

- 10:00 a.m. – Reception of attendees — UPA Aragón Technician
- 10:30 a.m. – Almond tree management — Technician from UPA Aragón
- 13:00 h – Demonstration of pruning management techniques (conventional, new trends and high-density systems) — Alfredo Bailo Berdor
- 2:00 PM – Spanish Wine
This event aims to strengthen knowledge transfer in the field and enable farmers and technicians to compare pruning approaches , resolve doubts, and assess which practices best suit the conditions of each farm.
