Dissemination action to highlight the rural heritage of four districts in Ourense

On March 27, 2026 , the GDR10 Limia-Arnoia Association will organize the activity “Enhancing the value of the rural heritage of the Allariz-Maceda, A Limia, Baixa Limia and Terras de Celanova regions” in Piñeira Seca (Xinzo de Limia, Ourense ), as part of the RURALMENTE project. This initiative seeks to generate shared knowledge and promotional tools that contribute to strengthening the link between territory, identity and products with quality designations (PDO/PGI) .
The event, which aims to raise awareness and promote the region , will be held in collaboration with the Galician Potato PGI and is open to experts , the coordination team, and the general public . Throughout the day, the focus will be on rural heritage —both tangible and intangible—as a key element for revitalizing rural areas, strengthening local narratives, and supporting promotional strategies linked to high-quality, differentiated agri-food products.
