The "digital field" is among the main topics to be addressed at meetechSpain 2025, a showcase of technological innovation.
Description
The main technological and sustainability trends will come together at meetechSpain 2025 , the event that will bring together Technology Centers, companies, researchers and innovation leaders to analyze the keys that will define competitiveness in the coming years.
Organized by the Spanish Federation of Technology Centers (Fedit) , the event will offer an experiential format where innovation can be seen, tested and touched , with real demonstrators, specialized workshops and a technology hackathon powered by Enagás .
Over two days, eight round tables will address the major challenges and opportunities surrounding innovation and industrial transformation, including the one dedicated to the agri-food sector, "The Digital Field":
- Security and Defense 4.0 , on dual innovation and technological sovereignty.
- The Grand Industrial Orchestration , with generative AI, smart logistics and predictive maintenance as protagonists.
- The Digital Field , which will explore the technological revolution of the agri-food sector through digitalization, biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
- Product Life Cycle , focused on decarbonization and efficient reuse of resources.
- Digital and Personalized Health , with advances in robotics, digital twins and preventive medicine.
- Cooperation in R&D&I , highlighting public-private collaboration as an engine of competitiveness.
- Economic and Social Impact of Technology Centres , with evidence of the added value they generate.
- Public Policies on Science and Innovation , where the direction of R&D&I in Spain will be debated.
In addition, the Tech&Touch Zone will allow visitors to experience innovation through technological demonstrators in collaborative robotics, cybersecurity, autonomous drones, new materials, and smart medical devices.
meetechSpain 2025 is consolidating itself as the great national showcase of applied innovation , where scientific knowledge is translated into real solutions for a more efficient, sustainable and digital industry, and where the agri-food and rural sectors have their leading role.
Specifically, on November 13th, from 11:40 a.m. to 12:24 p.m., the main forum will host the roundtable discussion " The New Profitability of the 'Digital Field': Sustainable Transformation for the Food of Tomorrow." A substantial part of the stability of our societies and our environment depends on the primary sector. Agri-food must be sustainable and profitable, as Europe states, from farm to fork. Digital technology offers the sector new possibilities in augmented biotechnology with generative AI, monitoring systems, data capture and transport, local processing models, alternatives to current plant protection products and fertilizers, and new solutions for more efficient resource management. The digital field must be environmentally and economically sustainable. Participants will include:
- Raúl Santos Olmos , CEO and Founder of Syltec (a CARTIF client company)
- Ricardo Díaz Pujol . Director of Digital Transformation at AINIA.
- Alberto García Tores . Director of the AGM Sheep Development Farm
- Jesús Esteban Morcillo , CEO of Emilio Esteban, SA (a CETECE client company)
- Moderator: Pablo Coca , General Director of CTIC
