Description

The "Circular Water Economy. Use of Reclaimed Water in Agriculture" conference, organized by AMAYA – the Andalusian Environment and Water Agency – a beneficiary of the I-ReWater project, will be part of the side events of EU Green Week 2025. The event will take place on June 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Andalusian Regional Government.

This event will focus on raising awareness about the viability of using reclaimed water in irrigated agriculture, and will address key topics such as presenting the legal context in Spain and Andalusia, the challenges facing farmers, and the opportunities offered by new projects such as I-ReWater for sustainable water resource management in irrigated agriculture in the SUDOE region.

European Green Week 2025 will take place from June 3 to 5, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium, with a program of side events running until the end of the month. Planned activities include various policy debates with experts on the circular use of resources and side events with industry leaders.
