Description

The CAP Network will hold a face-to-face conference on June 16 and 17, 2026, focused on soil health and efficient water management , with the aim of promoting more resilient and sustainable agricultural practices through the exchange of knowledge, real experiences and applied innovation.

The initiative is organized by the CAP Network, belonging to the General Sub-Directorate of Agricultural Policy Planning of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), in collaboration with El Colletero.

The meeting will bring together farmers, industry technicians, research centers, cooperatives, public administrations and entities involved in innovative projects, such as AEI-Agri Operational Groups, Horizon Europe initiatives or LIFE projects, interested in learning about successful experiences and establishing new alliances around the improvement of water resources and soil health.

The event will combine technical sessions and field visits. On June 16th, it will take place in Venta Moncalvillo, in Daroca de Rioja (La Rioja), while on June 17th, several visits will be made to farms located in the Riojan municipalities of Sojuela and Nalda, where participants will be able to learn firsthand about different practices and innovations applied to the sustainable management of water and soil.

In addition, the organization will provide attendees with a bus service departing from and arriving in Logroño during both days.

Attendance at the event is free, but prior registration is required. The registration period will remain open until June 10th at 12:00 PM.

The event is presented as an opportunity to learn about innovative practical experiences, share technical knowledge and strengthen collaboration networks among the various actors in the AKIS ecosystem linked to agricultural sustainability.
