Andalusian Conference on Data Spaces in the agri-food sector: “From Soil to Crop”
Description
On March 3, 2026 , from 09:00 to 13:30 , the Auditorium of the Old Teacher Training School of the University of Jaén will be the setting for the Andalusian Conference on Data Spaces in the Agri-food sector: “From Soil to Crop” , a meeting aimed at companies and public administrations interested in learning how agri-food data spaces can promote innovation, competitiveness and new digital services in the sector.
A meeting point to transform data into services and business models
The event was created with the aim of connecting federated data spaces (agricultural and urban), administrations and companies to promote the creation of digital services and business models based on the contribution of data, capabilities and knowledge of the participating entities.
Throughout the event, real-world cases and operational solutions will be presented, along with funding options and success stories , showing how to participate in federated data spaces without losing sovereignty or control over information.
Sovereignty, monetization, connectivity, and innovation
The program will focus on four key benefits of data spaces:
- Sovereignty: deciding who accesses the data, for what purposes and under what agreements, while maintaining control and traceability.
- Monetization: generating new revenues and digital services by adding value to data that is currently isolated.
- Connection: Integrate data and services using connectors and federated catalogs for reuse.
- Innovation: combining data from multiple sources for advanced analytics and AI applied to agriculture, in a collaborative and scalable way.
The meeting is organized by the Soil Data Space project team, with the collaboration of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration through the Data Space Reference Center (CRED) , promoted by the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
