On December 19, 2025 , from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , the seventh edition of the "Agroforestry Biodiversity" conference will be held online , organized by Asefoga and framed within the "Living Territories" program of PEPAC 2023-2027 .

This informative session focuses on agricultural, livestock, and forestry biodiversity , addressing its importance as a key pillar for the sustainability of production systems and resilience to climate change . The session will begin with an introduction to the concept of agroforestry biodiversity, its current status, and the main threats it faces.

The program includes an analysis of the international and national context , with reference to the Convention on Biological Diversity , the European Biodiversity Strategy 2030 , and sectoral policies in Spain. It will also examine the current regulatory framework , national conservation strategies , and the integration of biodiversity into agricultural, livestock, and forestry plans.

Another key section will be dedicated to the CAP and biodiversity , including eco-schemes, environmental conditionality, and specific support measures. The day will conclude with a comprehensive section on best practices , such as wildflower margins, polycultures, extensive grazing, conservation of native breeds, adaptive silviculture, and success stories in Spain and Europe , including LIFE projects.

The activity is aimed at those interested in the sustainable management of the territory and the conservation of productive ecosystems .
